Data protection policy

SII undertakes to ensure that the processing of personal data carried out on its site (sii-group.com/fr-FR and sii-group.com/en-FR) complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act.

 

What is the data collected by SII used for?

SII collects and processes only personal data, provided by visitors to the site, for the following activities:

  1. Management of the website (and in particular its security)
  2. Management of contact requests
  3. Management of job applications

 

1 / Website management

The purpose of Website Management is to administer, maintain and secure the website. The personal data stored are login data the retention of which is legally and strictly necessary to ensure the security objective of the website.

Who are the data intended for?

Your data is transmitted to IT services.

How long are the data kept?

Your data is kept for 1 year.

 

2 / Management of contact requests

The purpose of managing contact requests is to communicate with you and in particular respond to messages you send us. The personal data collected and stored are those strictly necessary for the provision of the requested service.

What personal data is collected?

  • Surname,
  • First name,
  • E-mail address,
  • Telephone number (optional),
  • Postal code.

Who are the data intended for?

Your data is sent to the communication departments and branch offices.

How long are the data kept?

Your data is kept for 2 years after your last contact with SII.

 

3 / Management of job applications

The management of applications allows us to collect and process applications. The personal data collected and stored are those strictly necessary for the provision of the requested service.

What personal data is collected?

  • Surname,
  • First name,
  • E-mail address,
  • Telephone number,
  • CV and/or CV URL.

Who are the data intended for?

Your data is transmitted to recruitment services.

How long are the data kept?

  • If the application is not followed by the signing of an employment contract (permanent, fixed term, internship, apprenticeship, international work experience volunteer): for 2 years after your last contact with SII.
  • If the application is followed by the signing of an employment contract (permanent, fixed term, internship, apprenticeship, international work experience volunteer):as long as is necessary to meet our contractual and regulatory obligations.

 

Transfer of your personal data

Global group

There is no transfer of personal data from one SII subsidiary to another, except the transfer of an application to another country, after explicit agreement is obtained from the applicant.

Government, public and/or judicial authorities

We may be required by laws, court rulings and/or requests from public and governmental authorities inside or outside your country of residence to disclose your personal data.

We may also transfer your personal data if we determine that, for reasons of national security, public importance or law enforcement, disclosure is necessary or appropriate.

 

Security

In order to protect your personal data, technical and organisational security measures are implemented in accordance with SII’s Information Security Policy (PSI).

 

Exercising your rights

For any information or to exercise your rights on the processing of personal data managed by SII, you can contact its Data Protection Officer (DPO) by sending an e-mail to the following e-mail address: dpd@sii.fr.

In accordance with the applicable regulations, you are entitled to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority such as the CNIL (National Data Protection Authority) in France.
