Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Mission

An inclusive company by conviction

At SII, we firmly believe that diversity is a driver of performance and innovation. An inclusive company is not only fairer, but it is also stronger, more agile and better connected to the world around it.
That's why, for many years, we have been pursuing a committed and active policy on diversity, equity and inclusion.

A clear framework for moving forward together

Our commitment is part of a structured framework comprising:

  • The internal DEI Charter, which sets out the fundamental principles guiding our behaviour and decisions,

  • The company agreement on professional equality between women and men and QVCT, which governs our actions in terms of recruitment, diversity, professional development, and job retention.

These documents constitute our roadmap, guaranteeing a consistent and measurable approach that is shared by all.

Our strategic priorities for diversity, Equity and inclusion

  • A disability-friendly company: since 2008, we have been pursuing an active policy of recruiting, integrating, and retaining workers with disabilities.

  • Awareness-raising and collaboration: we organise awareness-raising sessions open to all staff and work with companies in the sheltered and adapted employment sector.

  • Concrete actions: Inclusion is, above all, a reality experienced on a daily basis. That is why we are expanding our initiatives, including:
    - Personalised support schemes,
    - Awareness-raising and training programmes, including the Handimanager Label,
    - Internal communication campaigns,
    - Educational projects such as the web series “Disability according to SiiMON”, designed to change perceptions and remove barriers. Every initiative aims to create an accessible, welcoming, and respectful working environment for everyone.

  • Committed partnerships: Because inclusion is a collective challenge, we surround ourselves with expert partners. Thanks to:
    - Our service agreement with AGEFIPH,
    - Our partnerships with key players in the adapted and sheltered employment sector.
    - We facilitate professional integration, secure career paths, and implement adjustments tailored to individual needs. - These partnerships strengthen our ability to act effectively and sustainably.

  • As signatories to the LGBT+ Charter of the L’Autre Cercle association, we are committed to creating an inclusive environment for LGBT+ employees.

  • We strive to eliminate all discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity.

  • Promoting female recruitment: We have set clear objectives to attract more female talent, particularly in technical professions.

In partnership with the charity Elles Bougent, we are committed to promoting gender diversity in scientific, industrial and technological careers. Our female employees engage with young girls through career guidance initiatives, events focused on innovation and school visits, sharing their experiences, challenging stereotypes and inspiring future careers.
This collaboration is part of a long-term initiative to foster a more inclusive professional environment.
For example, in 2025, more than 1,375 young girls were reached thanks to the commitment of our mentors and representatives across France.

  • Equal pay: We monitor pay gaps to ensure complete fairness.

  • Support for female employees: Specific measures are in place to support pregnant women and facilitate their return to work after parenthood.

SIImon, who is he? He is the employee who represents us in everyday office life, sometimes full of preconceptions about disability, sometimes inspiring good practice and better ways to support an employee with a disability, sometimes deciphering behaviours specific to a particular type of disability. All with a great sense of humour!
