Against a backdrop of significant skills shortages in the digital and engineering sectors, the SII Group has announced plans to recruit 1,600 new staff by 2026. These new hires are intended to support key client projects in France, as part of a strategy of controlled and selective growth, directly aligned with the Group’s technological expertise.

With a presence in 21 countries, SII operates in France through a localised model comprising 11 regional offices and 25 branches, complemented by two specialist subsidiaries, Metanext and SII Solutions.

This structure enables the group to meet the long-term needs of its clients in key sectors such as defence, aeronautics, space, telecommunications, banking and insurance, energy, transport, retail and industry.

Targeted recruitment to support long-term technology projects

“Our ambition is to continue our growth whilst remaining aligned with our areas of expertise and the specific needs of our clients. The recruitment planned for 2026 is part of a strategy of controlled growth, based on the quality of our projects and the strength of our teams,” says Maud Lorant, Head of Recruitment at the SII Group.

The 1,600 new hires will mainly be engineers and consultants on permanent contracts, working on engineering and technology consultancy projects. The expertise sought includes:

•    IT and software development
•    Infrastructure & Cloud
•    DevOps
•    Data & artificial intelligence
•    Cybersecurity
•    Project management
•    Testing
•    Embedded systems
•    Systems engineering
•    Modelling and simulation
•    Testing and test equipment
•    Manufacturing
•    Methods, industrialisation, quality and electronics

This approach reflects the group’s commitment to ensuring that skills match projects, within a challenging market environment.
A recruitment strategy rooted in local communities
Recruitment will be spread across the group’s head office and 11 regional branches, reflecting SII’s community-focused model:
•    Over 350 positions in the Paris region, as well as in Bourges, Rouen and Orléans
•    Over 240 positions in the West (Rennes, Nantes, Brest, Lannion, Caen, Le Mans, Niort, Tours)
•    365 positions in the South-West (Toulouse, Bordeaux, Pau)
•    250 positions in the South-East (Lyon, Aix-en-Provence, Sophia Antipolis, Grenoble, Clermont-Ferrand, Montpellier, Toulon, Valence)
•    95 positions in the North-East (Lille, Strasbourg, Metz, Nancy)
•    Around 40 opportunities within the Metanext and SII Solutions subsidiaries

Investing in the skills of today and tomorrow

Whilst the majority of recruitment targets experienced candidates, the group also continues its policy of welcoming recent graduates and future talent, notably by taking on around 150 work-study students and final-year interns, in conjunction with the school partnerships developed by SII.

Awarded the Great Place to Work certification for the ninth consecutive year, the group is built on a corporate culture of autonomy, collaboration and knowledge sharing, embodied by its employer brand, Let’s Tech Together.

In this context, SII is committed to a policy of equal opportunities and inclusion. The group is taking concrete steps to promote the employment of people with disabilities, ensure a working environment that respects every individual, particularly with regard to sexual orientation, and promote diversity in all its forms. Particular attention is also paid to gender diversity within teams, which is seen as a driver of collective performance and innovation.
