KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the design, development and validation of a Power Interface Control Board (PICB) for an upgraded processor subsystem.
Produce electronic hardware designs from concept through to detailed implementation.
Develop schematics, component selections and supporting technical documentation.
Perform power distribution, power integrity and interface analysis.
Support board-level integration, hardware bring-up and functional verification activities.
Conduct design reviews and provide technical input throughout the development lifecycle.
Define and execute hardware verification and qualification test plans.
Investigate and resolve hardware issues identified during development and testing.
Collaborate closely with systems, firmware, software and integration teams.
Ensure compliance with relevant quality, reliability and engineering standards.
Support prototype builds and hardware development activities with manufacturing partners.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Strong electronic hardware design experience, particularly in digital and mixed-signal systems.
Experience designing power management and power distribution circuitry.
Schematic capture and PCB design tool experience (e.g. Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, Mentor Graphics).
Understanding of DC-DC converters, voltage regulation and power sequencing.
Knowledge of processor-based architectures and hardware interfaces.
Experience with hardware integration, debugging and fault-finding techniques.
Familiarity with laboratory test equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analysers and power analysers.
