SII Group Spain has wrapped up its participation in Aerospace & Defense Meetings Sevilla 2026, one of the leading international events for the aerospace, space and defense industry, held from May 19 to 21 in Seville.
Over three days, the event brought together manufacturers, engineering firms, suppliers and technology companies from across Europe in an environment focused on driving collaboration, innovation and the development of new industrial capabilities.
Engineering and digitalization: a key convergence for the sector
This year's edition placed particular focus on the transformation currently underway in the Aerospace, Space & Defense sector, marked by the growing integration of advanced engineering, digitalization and IT technologies.
In this context, SII Group Spain actively took part by sharing its vision on the challenges facing the industry in areas such as the development of new industrial capabilities, the complexity of technology programs and the acceleration of digital transformation.
As highlighted by Sara Gómez García, Director of the West Agency at SII Group Spain, the sector is going through a decisive moment in which the ability to integrate engineering knowledge and digital technologies will be crucial to meeting future challenges.
"The aerospace and defense industry needs to move toward increasingly connected, efficient and resilient models. The convergence between engineering and digitalization will be one of the major drivers of transformation for the sector in the coming years," she said.

From stand C12, the SII Group Spain team held meetings with clients, partners and professionals from the industrial ecosystem, strengthening relationships and exploring new collaboration opportunities on high-value technology projects.
Taking part in ADM Sevilla 2026 also provided the opportunity to exchange knowledge on emerging trends related to advanced manufacturing, industrial digitalization, product lifecycle management and technologies applied to critical environments.
