The integration of the Manufacturing Engineering activities of Airtificial and Aertec Solutions strengthens SII Group Spain's position in a sector undergoing full transformation

SII Group, a multinational specializing in engineering services and information technology, strengthens its activity in the aerospace, defense, and naval sectors with the addition of the Manufacturing Engineering divisions of Airtificial and Aertec Solutions. The transaction significantly expands its Manufacturing Engineering capabilities in Spain and strengthens its European network amid growing demand for specialized engineering.
The integration brings in new teams and expertise in Manufacturing Engineering, MRO services, and naval systems engineering, and expands SII Group's presence in strategic industrial hubs in central and southern Spain.
With teams in Spain, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom, SII Group works with leading integrators and OEMs in the sector on industrialization projects, process digitalization, industrial performance improvement, and systems engineering.
Manufacturing as a competitive advantage
The aerospace and defense industry faces a demanding landscape: higher production rates, cost pressure, digitalization, and sustainability targets are transforming manufacturing models.
In this context, Manufacturing Engineering becomes a strategic factor. The ability to turn a design into an efficient, stable, and repeatable industrial process is key to improving productivity, quality, and competitiveness.
With more than four decades of engineering experience, SII Group strengthens its position in this field by combining specialized expertise, on-site presence, and digital capabilities.
From design to production
SII Group supports its clients throughout the life cycle of projects and programs, from design and industrialization through to the implementation and optimization of processes on the shop floor. In Manufacturing Engineering, its capabilities cover process engineering, tooling, technical documentation, and digital solutions aimed at accelerating industrialization and ensuring an efficient transition from design to production.
This proximity to the shop floor also makes it possible to respond to production needs, improve processes, and directly coordinate the engineering, manufacturing, quality, and maintenance areas.
AI for smarter manufacturing
Industrial transformation is entering a new phase: the connected factory is evolving toward systems capable of interpreting data, anticipating scenarios, and making decisions. SII Group is incorporating artificial intelligence and advanced analytics to optimize processes, detect deviations, anticipate incidents, and improve operational performance.
This evolution also requires securely connecting IT and OT environments, with industrial cybersecurity as a structural element. On this basis, SII Group helps its clients improve productivity, optimize energy and material consumption, and move toward more adaptive, efficient, and sustainable manufacturing systems.

Manufacturing engineering is one of the areas where much of industrial competitiveness is decided today. With this operation, we are strengthening our capabilities to support our clients from design to production, with teams closer to the shop floor and greater execution capacity."
