The SII Group celebrates the inauguration of its premises in Rennes, located in Newton, one of the historic buildings of Atalante - Via Silva.
With a surface area of 3,300 m² spread over four floors, the spaces have been completely redesigned to adapt to new ways of working and the changing expectations of employees. With a well-established regional network, this event marks the completion of the renovation of its five locations: Caen, Brest, Lannion, Le Mans and Rennes. To support this development, the SII Ouest agency plans to hire more than 100 employees in 2025, half of whom will be based in Rennes.
A MAJOR REDESIGN TO CREATE A NEW COLLABORATIVE ENVIRONMENT

Based at Newton, the Rennes teams rediscovered their workspaces in a newly renovated building after more than a year of construction work while the site remained occupied. The four floors were completely redesigned using a collaborative approach, with around fifteen employees involved in the initial planning stages. With better-sized spaces for offices, meeting rooms and social areas, the design agency Decodheure has successfully transformed uses, places and habits: ‘The SII Ouest workplace is much more than just a workspace. It embodies a visual narrative around strong themes: embarkation, connection and reliability.’
The objective?
• Open up to the Rennes ecosystem through spaces designed to welcome local stakeholders.
• Encourage collaboration between employees at work and in their daily lives, enabling them to get to know each other, meet up and share their passions or professional challenges. SII Ouest has 14 ‘SIIClubs’, internal sports and cultural associations, funded by the CSE and management.
A STRATEGIC RENEWAL TO STRENGTHEN ITS TERRITORIAL NETWORK
This inauguration marks the completion of the renovation of workspaces at five locations (Rennes, Brest, Lannion, Caen, Le Mans), which is highly strategic for the Group as a whole.
The ambition ?
• To offer a technology hub designed to support the strategic projects of its clients located in the region, but also nationally and internationally.
• As the main site, the Rennes location has a strong digital and innovation culture, making it a major reference in the fields of application development, automation, infrastructure, data and AI.
• To support this growth, SII Ouest plans to hire more than 100 employees in the region by 2025, half of whom will be based in the Brittany area.
Nicolas Bourgeois, Director of SII West, states:
"These renewal projects are in line with our ambitions. We strive daily to maintain a privileged relationship with major players in our region, such as Ouest France, Brittany Ferries and Delta Dore, drawing on our extensive knowledge in sectors such as telecoms and banking/insurance. This local expertise complements the partnerships we maintain on a daily basis with our national and international clients, such as Orange, Thalès, Crédit Mutuel ARKEA and the COVEA Group. We are also consolidating our presence in all sectors of the economy and increasingly targeting the defence sector, in which the SII Group also has extensive expertise".
