Product Support Engineer
At SII India IT & Engineering Services Pvt. Ltd., We have 2 positions open for Site Reliability Engineer/ Product Support Engineer. Below is the detailed Job Description. Please send some quality profiles for this requirement.
Experience: 5-9 yrs
- Logistics / Supply Chain (preferred). But, eCommerce is also fine.
- Database – Any RDBMS (preferably PostgreSql).
- Should have provided production support for Java / Spring Boot (Node Js would be a plus). applications in cloud (GCP is preferred).
- Promotheus - Preferred.
- Incident management:
- Analyze production incidents and create defects (as needed) with enough details for Engineering teams to analyze and fix the defects.
- Track incidents to closure.
- Know the escalation path to contact concerned teams for critical incidents.
- Experience with on-call duty.
- Alerts and Monitors
- Build dashboards to monitor platform stability and performance in production.
- Build alerts to get timely notification for any anomaly in production.
- Customer Centric and Metrics driven
- Need to be aware of the business metrics and error trends in production to raise an alarm in case of any anomaly.
- Collaborate effectively with application teams to improve platform stability and performance. Also, to enhance monitoring and alerting.
- Need to document the knowledge gained to ensure seamless flow of information between teams.
