Role:

We’ve created a position at graduate level with a qualification in either Software, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering. The Engineer will be mentored by our experienced Systems Team. This team supports the development and testing of a cutting-edge NATO encrypted communication product; a core part of a radar system, as well as specialising in Electronic Warfare and Tactical Data-Link Systems in general. The team has been established by SII to support and develop Tactical Data Link (TDL) capabilities within a NATO environment. This is a great opportunity to fast-track your exposure into Aerospace and Defence related products and gain the experience and skills required to test, maintain, repair and upgrade them.

 

Activities:

  • Support the team on their day to day activities:
  • Assist and witness the testing procedures
  • Assist with test scenario creation
  • Assist with troubleshooting and reverse engineering activities to identify faults/errors
  • Data admin tasks (DOORS, JIRA)
  • User & data admin tasks

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Electronics/Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering
  • The desire to be part of a team and be able to cope with a demanding role.
