The #fungineer movement
For more than 40 years, our employees, customers, investors and candidates have built the SII Group and our employer brand #fungineer.
We have been living for several years a 4th industrial revolution... the digital revolution. In this one, software and code are everywhere, and for all uses, whether it is to book train tickets, to make a bank transfer, for online shopping, to study or even to heal. The major multinationals have been created and run by engineers by training. SII is an engineering company, created by an engineer, which brings technology enthusiasts together.
We created the #fungenieur movement.
A term which refers to the know-how of our teams, their technical skills (Genius) as well as their life skills, their curiosity, their creativity (the Fun). #fungenieur is the movement of students and engineers proud to be actors in the development of software that changes the world. Joining the #fungenieur movement is a means to flourish in your daily work through skills training and conferences, sharing knowledge setting up of events such as Speak'Ups. It is also a strong community strengthened by internal events such as agency evenings or afterWorks, in local structures in which it is easy to communicate.

At SII, every day we cultivate a passion for technology in a #fun spirit. Working in a good mood is the basis of the #fungenieur concept. It is our way of seeing the profession of engineer: a fulfilled collaborator, in a good mood and at the same time a genius.
Innovation is a key element of competitiveness in businesses. SII Group has its own Research division to identify technological and methodological locks our customers may encounter, to experiment through product Use-cases that can give ideas or insights to our customers, to develop the expertise and openness of our employees.

User-friendliness is put in the spotlight in all the entities of the SII Group: Friday morning breakfast, seminar, team building ... So many opportunities that allow our employees to exchange on their best practices and their expertise but also to get to know each other better.
SII management is based on trust, transparency, benevolence and collective responsibility. The Group wants to go beyond the simple manager / manager relationship. Our employees are at the center of our organization. Their enrichment as well as the sharing of information are at the very heart of our working methods. Thanks to the Great Place To Work® approach, we want to mobilise the collective intelligence in order to enhance the functioning of SII.
Team spirit, commitment and strength rhyme with Champion’s Academy! For several years now, the SII Group has sponsored collaborators, champions or champions from different sports: athletics, karate, parachuting, boogie woogie, judo, rowing, roller skating ... In 2020, 7 athletes joined the ranks of the Champion's Academy by SII. Financial sponsorship and recovery or training days can be granted according to the schedule of our champions.
For years, SII Group has been working with the "Elles Bougent" association. Several SII godmothers are committed and are present at "Elles Bougent" events to talk about their professions and inspire high school and college girls to find their bearings in scientific fields.
All SII services have moved on to agile methods and visual management. So in each service you can see displayed using sticky notes, current and future action plans. This allows employees who enter offices, common areas or meeting rooms to see the progress of strategic projects. These new methods reinvent the decision-making process by putting each stakeholder at the heart of the strategy.
Do you Speak'up ? The Speak'Up sessions are more than just technical conferences... Each employee can organise their own Speak'Up on a technical topic or on any subject that energizes and inspires them. (Ex.: sophrology, zero-waste conference). Trust remains a primary driving force of the SII Group. We encourage our employees to take initiative and share their ideas to improve their work conditions or to propose more personal projects such as associative partnerships.
