This Privacy Policy applies when you visit our website or get in touch with our sales & marketing department. By accessing this website and using it, or getting in touch with our sales and marketing department, you accept to be bound by all of these conditions automatically and unconditionally, excluding all others.

If you visit our website or are in touch with our sales/marketing department to collect or request information about our services and products, or when you subscribe to a newsletter, we need your e-mail address. Who manages your personal data?

All personal data that is collected, is managed by SII Belgium NV/SA. The personal information can be transferred to the entities that are part of the SII Group. Within SII Belgium & the SII Group, personal data is only accessible to the people who need those in order to execute their tasks.

SII Belgium does not share your personal data with third parties, unless:

  • with subcontractors and third parties for the purpose of the performance of a contract that we hold with them or that we hold with you. We will always see to it that your personal data is treated confidentially and securely. A third party data processor or subcontractor will never have the permission to use your personal data for his own initiative and your personal data will be deleted as soon as the third party has completed his task.

How do we protect your personal data?

We protect your personal data and privacy to the best of our abilities. Despite our best efforts, however, security cannot be absolutely guaranteed against all threats. Our employees are trained to ensure the ongoing confidentiality, integrity, availability and resilience of processing systems and services. We also have specialized employees for the security of our IT system. We also put different technical measures into place to protect your personal data. We have 30 days to respond to your request, starting from the day we receive all the information needed to fulfill your request.   • Right to be forgotten: You have the right to request us to erase all your personal data via e-mail at We will delete your personal data without undue delay if we do not have any legal reason or legitimate purpose to continue to process it. Please take into account that, depending on your request, we might not be able to offer certain services. We also can’t always erase all your personal data because we are legally obliged to keep personal information for a certain amount of time.
  • Right to restriction of processing: In some cases, you have the right ask SII Belgium to limit the processing of your personal data. We will be able to store the data, but won’t further process it.
  • Right to data portability: You have the right to receive your personal data which you have provided to SII Belgium, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and have the right to transmit those data to another controller without hindrance from SII Belgium.
  • Right to object: You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data in certain cases. We will no longer process your personal data, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests or rights, or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims. Where personal data are processed for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time, with no reason, to processing of your personal data for direct marketing, which includes profiling to the extent that it is related to such direct marketing. Retention of your personal data?

We keep your personal information in our information systems only for as long as necessary and for the purposes for which it was collected (as described in this Privacy Policy). It will be deleted once it is no longer needed by us and once all requirements at law have been met. We will retain and use your personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to perform our agreements or to consider tenders, to comply with our legal obligations (such as accounting and tax obligations) and to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements. Therefore, your personal data will be held during the duration of our contractual relationship and up to 15 years thereafter. Recruitment related personal data will be held during 3 years after the last communication or last day of our collaboration.
